Updated: Oct 23, 2023

Registration is now open for the 2023 Project Alpha Youth Awareness Seminar

If you find some value in this type of education and “SAYING WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID”, keeping our young males responsible and accountable for their actions, please forward this information on to the parents and mentors associated with the young men whose lives you touch.

Project Alpha is a national program developed by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and sponsored locally by the Delta Gamma Lambda Chapter. It was designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males.

We invite males between the ages of 12 – 18 to engage in an open discussion about responsible behavior in personal relationships. The program calls attention to:

  • Respect and responsibility in relationships

  • Adolescent pregnancy and parenthood

  • Protecting yourself and your partner

  • Sexually transmitted diseases

  • Intimate violence in relationships

  • The law pertaining to you, as a teenager

This annual program consists of a series of workshops and informational sessions conducted and facilitated by the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. along with members of the community.

The 2023 Project Alpha will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cincinnati Museum Center located at 1301 Western Avenue, 45203. Registration and parental or guardian consent are required.
