Civic engagement has always been central to building strong and thriving communities. That’s why Delta Gamma Lambda is proud to partner with the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for an important community conversation: “Why Voting Matters.”
This dynamic, nonpartisan panel discussion is designed to inform, empower, and engage members of our community as we explore the critical role voting plays in shaping the policies and decisions that affect our everyday lives.
Attendees will hear from a panel of community voices who will provide insight into the importance of civic participation and how elections influence key issues impacting our neighborhoods and families.
Topics of Discussion Will Include:
How voting influences healthcare, education, housing, and public safety
The power and responsibility of informed civic participation
Practical ways to stay engaged in the democratic process beyond Election Day
The conversation will also include time for audience questions and dialogue, creating space for thoughtful engagement and shared learning among attendees.
This event will bring together Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha, community leaders, civic organizers, and members of the Divine Nine, reinforcing the importance of collective leadership in strengthening civic awareness and participation.
Through events like this, our organizations continue the long-standing tradition of promoting civic responsibility and community empowerment.
We encourage all who are interested to join us for this impactful conversation.
